About Dreadmoor Wiki

Dreadmoor Wiki is an independent guide to DREADMOOR, the first-person fishing and survival game from Dream Dock and Digital Vortex Entertainment. The site covers the demo and the Early Access release: fishing technique, fish and bait data, boat upgrades, crafting, locations and the story.

The game is set in a drowned world where a fishing trawler is the only safe place to stand. That makes it a game of small, practical decisions: which lure to tie, how much line tension to hold, whether to spend scrap on a hull plate or an engine part. The guides here are written around those decisions rather than around generic lore.

How the guides are made

Every page is based on the public demo, the official Steam store and news posts, and the developers' published material. Where the demo does not confirm a detail, the page says so. Names and numbers are checked against the game interface rather than copied from other fan sites; several competing pages list fish, bosses and mechanics that do not exist in the build.

The demo is a vertical slice and its balance will change. Pages carry a demo version and a last-updated date, and they are revised when Early Access changes the systems they describe.
